While in school, you will be exposed to all hours of study habits. Some people just investigation in groups, others prefer to cram in solitude. 1st Go to class and take notes better than anyone else in the room

You will retain more information because you are listening, processing, writing and visualizing all at once. If there is a boring tangent, or if the entire lecture is boring, you will have a way to distract yourself. Staring at the wall is much worse than having a good notes from a dull uninteresting class.
2nd Review your notes after your classes
